WHEN AND HOW ARE DECISIONS ON APPLICATIONS MADE?
ˇ The outcome of applications will be decided approximately two weeks after the closing date of each round.

The YEETI Panel (consisting of representatives from Department of Human Services, Council to Homeless Persons, Local Learning and Employment Networks, Melbourne Citymission and others to be confirmed) meets 2 weeks after the closing date of the funding round. The YEETI Panel assess the applications. Beginning on the monday following this meeting the YEETI Administrator contacts all applicants to inform them of the decision. Decisions are made by consensus however on occasions where consensus is unable to be reached a 75% majority is required.
YEETI APPEALS PROCESS:
All applications will be assessed in accordance with the following:
ˇ Statement of YEETI principles
ˇ Nomination criteria
ˇ Caseplan guidelines
ˇ Application form for homelessness services consisting of application information, the caseplan with goals and links to employment, education, training programs and broader personal support/skill development goals by young person. Supporting quotes must be attached.
All Managing Personal Futures applications are assessed by the YEETI Panel where decisions are made by consensus. On the rare occasion the Panel cannot reach consensus, a 75% majority of present Panel members is required to make a decision.
If an application is deemed unsuccessful by the panel, the applicant will receive a letter outlining the appeals process as follows:
ˇ The applicant will be invited to discuss the application with the YEETI Administrator who will refer to advice from the specific YEETI panel discussion.
ˇ Applications can be appealed within 14 days of the applicant being informed of the decision.
ˇ Three panel members are required to assess appeals and must include the Employment, Education and Training Support Unit Manager who also sits on the Panel. Decisions are made on a majority rules basis.
